    THE SPECIFIC FEATURES OF THE DEPICTION OF WAR NOVEL BY VICTOR ASTAFYEV “THE CURSED AND KILLED”

    The article examines the stylistic features of war depiction in Victor Astafyev's novel "The Cursed and Killed", taking into account that this book is the final work in his professional biography. The paper examines and compares different perspectives of domestic and foreign scholars on the sources of stylistic formation in this literary work, and provides distinctive characteristics of the novel according to the socio-political features of the period during which it was created.

    FEATURES OF THE FORMATION OF PROSE "ON A MODERN THEME" IN THE NATIONAL ART OF THE WORD OF THE 60S – 70S OF XX CENTURY (BASED ON ADYGHE LITERATURE)

    The study examines the features of the development of Russian literature of the 60s – 70s of XX century based on the general Adyghe prose "on a modern theme". The research investigates issues of increasing problems, the evolution of the concept of personality, the activation of psychological analysis and the movement towards a variety of poetic means. The features of a new stage of the literary process, determined by cultural and historical changes in society, are identified and formulated. Based on the analysis of the most characteristic and indicative works of Adyghe writers, conclusions are made about the general patterns of the development of Russian literature in the modern period of development. The evolution of genres can be traced widely in the context of the development of the all-Russian artistic and aesthetic process, which allows us to identify the features of the literary era of the XX century.

    VERBAL REPRESENTATION OF BEHAVIORAL STRATEGIES IN PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS WITH ANIMALISMS IN THE COMPARATIVE ASPECT

    The article reveals the nature of behavior strategies in phraseological units with animalisms. It substantiates the hypothesis that the comparative description of strategies allows us to systematize them with respect to universality and specificity based on our knowledge of the essence of the phraseological picture of the world. The analysis identifies and describes strategies of communicative behavior in the semantic structure of phraseological units with animalisms in three unrelated languages. Phraseological units with animalisms, as one of the main layers in the phraseological picture of the world of any linguistic culture, have a wide range of strategies of communicative behavior that have both universal and national-specific meaning and expression. A comparative analysis of the verbal representation of behavioral strategies in phraseology with animalisms revealed the presence of universal and specific characteristics in the phraseological picture of the world.

    THE CONCEPT OF "MONEY" IN A WORK OF FICTION (ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE NOVEL "THE FINANCIER" BY T. DREISER)

    Based on the analysis of existing linguistic works, the article determines the place of the "concept" in a work of fiction. It is stated that the central concept of linguoculturology is the idea of “concept” and “artistic concept”. It is noted that the artistic concept is a component of the conceptual sphere of the author's artistic text, including those mental signs and phenomena that are preserved by the historical memory of the people and are cognitively and pragmatically significant for the author in developing the plot. The work provides an analysis of the concept of "money" in a work of fiction based on the example of the novel "Financier" by T. Dreiser. This concept is considered in accordance with the proposed model of V.I. Karasik, that is, an analysis of the three sides of the structure: figurative, conceptual and value-based.

    THE CONCEPTUAL SPACE OF A LITERARY TEXT

    The article examines the concept of “youth” from the point of view of the linguocognitive approach and presents the methodology for studying concepts proposed by cognitive scientists through the prism of perception by S. Maugham, and provides lexical units that verbalize the concept in the novel. Their dictionary definitions and their representation in the context of the novel are considered and described. The author's vision of how society perceives young people, their path of formation and acquisition of their own "I" is presented.

    METAPHORS OF PSEUDO-ORAL SPEECH IN AUDIOVISUAL TRANSLATION (ON THE EXAMPLE OF SOUTH KOREAN DRAMAS)

    The article analyses the metaphorical content of pseudo-oral speech in South Korean dramas and the growing popularity of the culture of South Korea. There is also an increased interest in the study of the Asian direction in various fields, including linguistics. Based on the semantic versatility of South Korean metaphors and the diverse stylistic coloring of the lines in the dramas, a conclusion is made about their influence on the viewer and the relevance of further research of the topic. The article studies metaphor as one of the typical cases of transmission of the meaning, in which an image and an object are displayed in such a way that such phrases convey both direct and figurative meaning. The subject of the research was the metaphors in the replicas of the characters of the dramas, which have an impact on the viewer of the film.

    ONE HUNDRED TRUTHS IN ADYGHE PAREMIOLOGY: STRUCTURE AND FUNCTIONS

    The article considers one of the little-studied genre forms of Adyghe folklore – one hundred truths, analyzing its specific features. It determines the structure of the genre, quantitative and qualitative indicators. Two types of truths are distinguished: monosyllabic formulas with direct motivation of meaning and relatively closed constructions in which pairs of opposites are connected by semantic parallelism. It is established that one hundred truths is a paremic tirade with a chain-like composition consisting of relatively autonomous units connected with each other by a catching (echo) rhyme.

    COMMUNICATIVE ASPECTS AND LEXICAL MEANS OF FORMING THE INFORMAL REGISTER OF COMMUNICATION IN RUSSIAN AND PALESTINIAN BLOGS

    The article analyzes the features of the choice of verbal and non-verbal means of communication and lexical means used by bloggers (Russian-speaking and Arabic-speaking) in their speech, and also considers their impact on the nature and effectiveness of interaction with the audience. It is noted that when using some communicative and lexical aspects in their speech, Palestinian and Russian bloggers use such verbal, non-verbal and paraverbal means of communication as slang, jargon, personal and demonstrative pronouns, as well as variable word order. Content analysis showed that a distinctive feature of the speech behavior of Palestinian bloggers is the use of the local dialect, which gives their speech uniqueness and originality.
