Songs about the Siberian exile in the folklore tradition of the Kalmyks (based on field research)

The article examines the songs about the Siberian exile of the Kalmyks, the genre designation of which is defined as songs that were performed secretly and only among them-selves. Particularly, among the Kalmyks, who were exiled to Siberia, the Far North and Sakhalin. Some of the texts have been introduced into scientific circulation for the first time. "Secret" songs are most often a work of female creativity. Siberian songs are another genre designation for songs of this period (1943-1957). In this article, the term "hidden", which exists in other folklore traditions, is introduced for the first time. Some of the lyrics of the Siberian period refer to songs - laments. Many modern folklore scholars should seek the opportunity to thoroughly analyze and introduce the songs of the Siberian cycle in scientific discourse, since such songs are a phenomenon in the folklore of the Mongols. The article aimed to introduce Siberian songs of exile recorded from different performers into scientific discourse, as well as to study the poetics of this cycle.

«The most peculiar of the Caucasus ethnicities is the Circassian one…»: V. V. Izmaylov’s «Journey to the midday Russia» in the paradigm of modern imagology

The paper examines the interpretation of the opposition "own-strange" in the social and cultural life and «political phenomena» of the Circassians in the system of imagological analysis in "Journey to the Midday Russia" (1800-1802) by the sentimentalist writer V. V. Izmailov. The ar-ticle proves that this foreign image is recreated through the educational attitude of the author, who sees it necessary to integrate the essential qualities of "the man of nature" and a "civilized man". The author reveals reception of the ideas of Rousseauism as a phenomenon of the 18th century European Enlightenment, associated with the actualization of the problems of the Russian historical development after Peter the Great. This is manifested in the interpretation / imagological image of the Adyghes, created as a result of the identification of the ethnotype and ethno-cultural way, as well as the national image of the world. It is shown that the imagotype and imageme represent those imagotypic structures and mental models that form the basis for the image of the attractiveness of the "Other" in this work.

Poetics of Ruslan Atskanov's sonnets: tradition and innovation

The article examines the sonnets of the Kabardian poet Ruslan Atskanov. The main attention is paid to the poetics of sonnets in order to establish their accordance/discordance with the genre. The authors investigate the main motive lines as well as the figurative and metric-rhyming systems. Individual sonnets created according to English, Italian and French forms are subjected to a detailed analysis. The study assesses the level of artistic mastery of the poet, shown during the development of these genre forms. R. Atskanov’s extensive sonnetary, presented in four author’s poetry collections – “Ventilation” (2003), “Into the Circle” (2009), “After the Rain” (2014), “House in the Clouds” (2020) is presented as the material of the study. Based on the results obtained, the poet's contribution to the development of the "solid" form of the sonnet, the formation and evolution of the genre in Kabardian poetry is determined. The results of the study can be used in studying the history of Adyghe (Adyghe, Kabardian, Circassian) literature, recreating a complete picture of the evolution of the sonnet genre in national poetry, as well as in writing qualifying and other kinds of research papers.

Contexts of semantics and phonosemantics: gardens, flowers and col-ors in the works of Alexander Blok and Viktor Sosnora

The article examines semantic conformance in the poetic work of Alexander Blok (based of the poems "Night Violet" and "Nightingale Garden") and Viktor Sosnora (the poem "Red Gar-den"). The phonosemantic method that examines color values in texts is a priority. It allows to contextualize various models of "romantic text" in accordance with the characteristics of the au-thor's personality. Special attention is paid to the theme of the "wonderful garden" in the poetry of A. Blok and V. Sosnora. The author shows the discordance of the author's optics in the translation of the romantic conflict by the narrators with the permanence of the main elements of the conflict, predetermined by the archetypes of the "romantic text" in the cultural meta-space.

Personification in the works of E.T.A. Hoffmann, H.Ch. Andersen and Ch. Dickens: comparative and typological analysis

The article provides a comparative and typological analysis of the personification in the European literature of the 19th century (Ch. Dickens, E.T.A. Hoffmann, H.Ch. Andersen). Particular attention is paid to the "small world" - the world of basic things, to which Hoffmann, Andersen and Dickens pay attention in their works. It is at the level of the "small world" that the characteristic features of personification are distinguished and described, thanks to which the writers manage to show a close relationship between inanimate objects and a person, and it is at the level of the "small world" that we can talk about the similarity of individual images and motives in the works of the authors.

Representation of the author's language consciousness in translingual discourse and code-switching

In this study the authors consider the possibility of representing the author's language consciousness in translingual discursive practices in code-switching that represents the axiological foundations of the ethnos. The study aims to explain that the translingual creative process is a speech-cogitative activity with homogeneous and heterogeneous languages influencing each other as two languages and two cultures collide in the author's language consciousness. The authors de-scribe the empirical material, which is based on the poorly studied fields of contact and distant linguistics. That is code-switching in artistic bilingual creative activity, characterized by an un-formed conceptual apparatus that passes specification in linguistic science. The study analyzes mechanisms and pragmastylistic functions of code-switching, which require multi-paradigm scientific research in the translingual artistic communication. Based on the analysis, the authors sum-marize new material on the topic.
