Linguistic methods of analysis of artistic discourse

The article aimed to describe artistic discourse and linguistic methods of its analysis. For many years, discourse analysis has been less an explicit "theory" than a practical and empirical approach to support fieldwork on relatively obscure languages and cultures. One area of early work that attracted attention in general and humanistic circles was the intercultural study of stories and narratives. Later, the main problems included the discourse of teaching and education, with a sociological bias, as well as the organization of conversation. Discourse is a term widely used in the humanities. Its study involves an analysis of the functioning of the language and the processes associated with it. Discourse finds its application in such fields as linguistics, literary studies, semiotics, sociology, philosophy, ethnology and anthropology.
